What level of training does Coolsculpting require?
Always ask your clinicians their level of training. Coolsculpting provides a level of basic training to clinicians when they buy the equipment. The rest of the training is up to the provider.
Coolsculpting has a training university in Reston, Virginia and Pleasanton, California. Very few Canadians have been to either of the facilities. At these universities there are three levels of training: Coolsculpting basics, Coolsculpting Masters and Coolscultping MBA.
𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 is for a provider that has done Coolscultping for a year and is now ready for higher level of basic education.
𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 is a program for clinicians that have done 1000s of cases and now can learn how to maximize the results of the technology, and treat more difficult areas. There are only a handful of Canadians that have been able to take this course. Now the US is no longer allowing clinicians to participate from Canada, so the number Canadian Master Coolsculpting clinicians will not increase.
The 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗕𝗔 program is not usually offered to Canadian’s. It is a program understanding more about the business, intensive results and training. I am the only Canadian to have completed all three of these courses!
In 2019 I had maximized all the training programs offered in North America and decided to take my training into my own hands. Since then I have shadowed other clinicians and Plastic surgeons across the world to learn the different techniques they have learned from their own experience working with the technology over the years.
I am a licensed Pharmacist and I have been a part of the Allergan Medical Institute both in Canada and internationally since 2020. In 2020 I was also made the Canadian Body Contouring Ambassador. I provide Webinars across the world, developed training programs for Canada and developed Master level Programs for 5 continents!
